Can I purchase a table pad for any size table? Answer: Yes, as long as the surface of the table is flat, a tracing of the table can be done, and a pad can be made to fit almost any shape or size table top.
Are table pads a good investment? Answer: Absolutly, the cost of refinishing has become an expensive proposition within the last ten years, and we highly recomend table pads to protect all newly refinished surfaces.
If I purchase table pads, do I leave them on the table all the time, or just use them when I have company? Answer: There is no right or wrong answer to this question. It becomes a matter of personal preference. Our table pads are designed to fold up and be stored away easily. Some people prefer to let them on until company arrives, to show off the natural wood of their table. Other people prefer to bring out the table pads to protect their table top surface from possable damage.
How do I care for my table pads? Answer: The top surface is a reinforced vinyl and can be wiped with a mild detergent on a daily basis.
Can a table pad be used on a glass top table? Answer: Yes, we highly recomend it. A glass top is a fragile surface that can easily be chipped or can cause a chip in fine china or glass ware. The table pad acts as a cushion to prevent this type of damage.
Is a table cloth necessary when using a table pad? Answer: It is not nessessary, many of today's table pads are designed to be used without the use of a table cloth. We offer a wide variety of colors and wood textures,and can many times mimic the actual wood grain of the table top surface.
If I do perfer to use a table cloth for formal settings, what do you have availible for this application? Answer: We do offer a white table pad or if you perfer a white with a wood grain texture.
What heat protection do table pads provide? Answer: Our table pads provide a range of heat protection up to 450 degrees. This insures the best protection to the finish of your table top surface.
